How can I REINVENT myself???!

Question: Lately it seems that life swirls around me....I don't seem to have goals, I don't seem to be motivated, and I don't give much of a dam* about stuff in general. I'd rather read a good book and take a nap. That said, I'm a typically ambitious person, but just with no direction right now. I want to step back, identify some things to change, find a direction, and rev up my life again. I'd like to reinvent myself....the problem is that each time I take time to think about these things, the swirling starts again, I overwhelm myself, and I get nothing from it. Can anyone give me tips on how to go about doing this and what I should be doing?

It sounds like you are in a "rut" or possibly early depression... Write your goals down and try to do things 1 at a time....

first things first, process and doesn't happen over night. start with one little thing and work your way up towards your goal.

Make a list of 5 big things you want to do with your life. Then, take each of the 5 things and break them down into a list of smaller tasks. Then, break each smaller task into even smaller tasks. Complete one of the smallest steps on your list each day.

Also, I find the Max Steingart's Daily Motivation emails and videos to be some of the most inspiring stuff aroud.

Juse remember to take things step by step. If you don't, you'll soon be overwhelmed. Good luck to you!

sounds like depresion u better man up set some reasonable goals for your self and get it done if u dont then depression could take over and that is just wont work. take your life back and get work done

first, see a counselor to help you stay on track.

secondly, find a goal you want! go to college or get a job

it'll take some time, but you can do it.
