I'd say the answer is one of two things.

1) You're normal. Normal people have emotions. Sometimes they come out of what seems like nowhere. I cry during songs all the time.

2) You're bi polar. If this continues to a point that you can't function properly throughout the day then you should be concerned and talk to a therapist. If not, no worries, you're just a normal, feeling person.

Pretty normal...actually. Depends on what you are focusing on - so that of course dpends on YOU. What do you focus on? And if you want to feel better more often, focus on things you enjoy or want to do or people you like, or things you look forward too etc. Having NO focus can cause borderline moods...so take charge!

You may be slightly bipolar. This is where you swing from high to low. Go online a look for test to see if you are bipolar. If you have some of the symptoms, see you doctor. There is medication for this that will put you on a level line.

Perhaps you have Borderline Personality Disorder.

sounds to me like you are experiencing symptoms associated with bipolar disorder..... is this sadness/happiness really extreme? You can go online and do a free bipolar assessment - it only takes about 5 minutes to complete, and although it is not intended to actually diagnose bipolar disorder, it helps to to recognize whether your symptoms are relevant to bipolar and works as an aid to you when you go to discuss this problem with a professional. Check out the sites below..... they are all very useful in determining if you have signs of bipolar disorder, as well as providing useful information as to what bipolar is, where it comes from, what you can do to manage it if you have it, etc etc. (the first one on the list is where you'll find the bipolar "quiz") Good luck!

bipolar is way overrated, just like adhd was/is

give it a rest. its normal!!!

Yes. You are moody. AND, you are normal ;'))) This will all get better but it will take a few years. In the meanwhile just recognize when you are in or entering a down cycle and Get Busy! With friends is good, but even better is by volunteering yourself to some person/project or issue you care about. Even going on Yahoo! Answers and helping out with some answers. ANYthing to get you outside yourself and let you see that we are all fellow travelers on this orb and everyone, at some point, can use your help. Good luck, I know you'll be A-OK, because you're already reaching out!
