How to deal with day to day depression?!


Question: I go through it too. You need to go out and get fresh air. You need to keep in contact with your favorite relative, or friends. Go out with them. I like to shop. That makes me feel good. Change your hair color. Join a gym, get a hobby, get into sports, etc.
Life can be depressing at times. If you want u can email me. I don't mind. But just keep your head up and realize that life can't be that bad. You have to motivate and do something about it.

Deal with day to day depressions by staying busy as much as you can and when you catch yourself thinking about it stop it and keep doin what your doing until you have time to fully asses the reason and the problem Eventually try to figure out why your feeling depressed or depressions and try to find ways to solve that problem. Exersis helps by sending endorphins to the body ergo helping you feel more comfortable in your own skin.

Find a depression website. If you have symptoms for depression you should go see your doctor. Depression is a serious problem and needs to be dealt with. There are some good medications and then you should seek the help of a therapist.

DO NOT SKIP YOUR BREAKFAST ..
start your day quite early .. do some kinda exercise or play some sport and have your breakfast ..

make time to do what you love to do .. and spend time wid ppl u like ..

that will surely help you ..

Has something happened in your life that has made you think this way? Please try and think positively (easy to say) Plan somethink that you really enjoy doing and take a friend to enjoy it with.

Pretty general question to answer very accurately. It depends on the CAUSE of the depression. If it's caused by some events in your life then I'd say you need change, counseling, positive activity to replace the bad situation, etc.

If it's brought on by some chemical, hormonal or medical issue then medication would be needed and you would need to see your family doctor atleast to get started on that. Depending on your age and the degree of the depression they would decide how STRONG an antidepressant was needed. The mildest that I am aware of with the least side effects & drug feeling is Wellbutrin XL and then of course the list is endless of stronger antidepressants.

Certainly don't ignore it though and think it'll go away on it's own. There is no shame in feeling like this and it usually doesn't take care of itself. Counseling, therapy might help and we all need someone to talk to - but look into your options so you are giving yourself the best options available.

just try to keep yourself busy and try not to think about being depressed it works I know because I suffer from MDD and it was hard for me in the begining all I wanted to do was sleep but I had support from my husband and his family just try not to think about it
