I remember things no one else remembers......is this normal?!
Question: Okay, so we can be out at some place, and then i say "I've definitely been here,". I remember having ice cream there, or talking to someone, etc. My family/friends then think I'm crazy, because they don't remember it at all. I'm sure it's not a dream, and i don't normally have a good memory. Why does this happen to me?

Oh the same thing happens to me a lot. It's either dae-ja-vou, which I think it is, or some sort of weird past life memory. Or perhaps you just remember it because it reminds you of something else that is so similar, your mind just assumes it's that. Hope this helped!

If no one else remembers about these things happening, it probably didn't really happen. Your mind is playing tricks on you by planting memories. For some reason, your mind is triggered by certain surroundings and situations and creates a memory about things that didn't actually happen. You are lead to believe that certain things happened, even if they really didn't occur. Memory planting is actually pretty common and is nothing to worry about. Anyone can have it but it is more common in some people.
i think your normal. i have an excellent memory, i can remember stuff that i did last week to the very last detail i dont know why i just do. i've always had it also. i worked at this one company and i could tell you everyones license plate number just by looking at someone, i also get the feeling of being there before. so no your not crazy just a person with a very gifted memory
lol that happens to me too. Its perfectly fine, its just you have an ah-mazing memory and certain things trigger it! =]
