My jealousy is getting to me, hard to deal with?!
Question: its nearly a year since ive passed my driving and i havent driven a car, idont have a car of my own. All my friends have a car and i dno i just feel jealous cos overall my life is so unhappy aswell.
please do not give me the lecture of poor people being worser of then me because im half african.
im just so depressed with my boring unsocial life, religious the only reason that keeps me going and my education. apart from that my life is nothing to live for. I find everything being so hard for me. Im a loser

First off, your not a Loser. Get that thru your head. True Losers are ppl that think so highly of themselves and pick on others to belittle them and for their own entertainment. N so what you dont have a car, whoop dee doo daa deeyy. I Dont even have my license yet, quite frankly I'm finding that I'm saving quite a bit of money without it. As I'm sure you are as well, even if you dont have that much to your name as of now, you have alot more than you would if you had a car, right. So instead of being upset that you dont have a car and all of your friends do, look at it this way, your taking your time and being smart about it. There is absoloutly nothing wrong about that, actually, I find it much more attractive in a person that is smart with their money as oppose to someone who goes and spends it on something flashy just to make themselves appear better...dont worry about that, in the long run, trust me your making the right smart decisions...and instead of looking at all the negative things you have in your life, start pointing out the positive, for starters, you seem like a good person with a good heart and a head on your shoulder, those qualities are much more difficult to find in ppl these days. Keep your head up and take your time, save your money and be smart with it. Besides the longer you save up, the bigger the reward. Thus meaning, you will eventually get a really nice car that will blow your friends cars to shame! Keep low pro and think positive, trust me, your doing the right thing. Now all you gotta do is start being proud of yourself and who you are, think positive and you will get positive. And allthough times may be diffcult right now, you must understand that Life throws challenges and tests at you through your lifetime, and with each one you conquor, you will get positive, you will reach your goals, never give up and keep your head high, you DO have it in you. :)
Oh honey..dont ever give up things will always turn out good in the end. keep going forward, and its good that your education keeps you going, than you can become something and make lots of money, so you can give yourself and family what they want. You always just gotta keep moving forward with you head on straight. And you dont have to have a car to have fun n to have friends. I didnt have a car for 7 months, and i still had a good time, i still hung out with my friends. You can just mope around expecting good things just to happen to you, it doesnt always happen that way, you gotta work for it, yea some people are lucky and get everything they want n dont have to do nething, but not everyone is that lucky. Do you have a job to start saving up money to get a car?...your life isnt over yet. it nearly just begin. have fun, live life to the fullest regret nothing, and smile every second you can get! =D

Nobody is twisting your arm making you feel or do the things you do that makes you so upset.
I did not have my drivers liscense until I was 27 yrs. old.
My father could not keep up with the insurance or drivers wear & tear on his vehicles. Life is tough honey, but by golly some one has to live it! I got myself a job close to a lil ole sleeping room that I used so that I could have a place to go sleep. It was not fancy at all, but it was what I made of it.
I have been known to walk over a mile to get to work at making $1 hr./ working 70 hrs. a week just to be able to eat and pay for my own insurance and rent.
You got a boring life??? Ask yourself WHY?!
If you have a boring social life then change it. Find a paper route on your bike, go for walks or have a yard sale to meet new people & make money.
Join church groups to volunteer to help those less fortunate than you. Lots of nice folks out there to meet. You have to go out and find them, they don't know you have your circumstances.
Food banks to get free food once a week, Salvation army food kitchen for free meals daily, or go to the Y for shelter and exercise. Lots of folks out there handing you a free ride if you do have difficult circumstances. Go for it.
It does not matter if you are half of anything to me. Color has nothing to do with your self esteme or your being able to stand up and be counted out there.
You are the one who has the power over your life, nobody else. Life is what you make of it. Make lemonade out of lemons that life hands you fella. Nobody owes you a living since we all have been there and done that ourselves.
