Are people who committ suicide always crazy?!

Question: I just read something that said people who committ suicide have 'broken' brains. I don't believe that!

Sometimes this world is awful. And sometimes there are people out there who really can't stand it another day. Just because they don't want to be at the party, doesn't mean they are nuts.

Opinions?

there not crazy there just scared and alone and need help they can't stand the way there being treated and can't stand the pain so they would rather die then have to feel that again

I know of a few people that got real drunk and pulled that trigger. If they had been sober this probably wouldn't have happened. No they are not crazy. Just horribly sad.

In a way yes In a way no im on both sides

not all ppl who kill themsevles r crazy or have some type of mental disorder. Some jus find themsevles caught up in somethin and they think the only way out is to kill themsevles.
Most of the ppl who do kill themsevles never show any signs or symptoms of depression or mental problems.

welll yes they are crazy.... conditions cant be so bad u would want to die... unless r very poor and can barley afford to live.. but all thos goth ppl and emo's they r crazy its not that life is so horrible on them they just want to do that and act all depressed and stuff just to feel a lil special maybe and get some attention... then it goes to mind over manner and they really get depressed and kill them self. and thats y they r brain broken.

I don't believe people who are or have been suicidal have "broken brains" And I also do not believe as some Psychologists believe, that a chemical imbalance in the brain is the cause of all suicidal thoughts. Sometimes Strong emotions are all that's to blame. I do think its unfortunate that some people feel they can never be happy because things do get better.

no alot of people commit suicide cause they are depressed and depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain its not broken it can be fixed with therapy and medication. alot of people feel sad some more then others

That is what they said about Socrates.

I don't think they're always nuts, just cowards. They've given up on life and that's not the way to deal with any problem.

No.

There are many reasons people commit suicide. The vast majority of those who ask for assisted suicide are probably not crazy at all.

i dont consider myself crazy....iv attempted it a few times...just very depressed and lonely and sick of the way my life is..i guess its just hard for people to understand if they are usually happy and love life.

No, people who commit suicide normally do it cause something bad has happened to them, like a persons died or sometimes they commit suicide simply because they suffer from depression.

No.

Not all people who commit suicide have or may not be associated with psychiatric disorder. Even a normal people can do it with the right mind.

Stage 5 (Scale 5)
> very high risk of immediate suicide
> high lethality plan
> experiencing severe depression
