Tennage anxiety?!


Question: so i have the problem of careing wayyyy to much of what people think of me, im not confident at all, i have trouble sleeping at night, and whenever im around people i feel so intimated and scared to talk which makes me feel even worse cause people cant see the real me. i am a perfectionist which makes it even worse. i like neeed to have the best grades which stresses me out when trying to study but when i get liek a B i flip out. also im always scared to change my self, wear different make up, dress differently, change my hair stuff like that

this isnt because i want people to feel bad for me , but i want help. my family isnt too into medication and ive been to a thearpist, anyone have any "self" help, any similar experiences with outcomes. anything would be great =]

I've always found that trying to fit in and conform to what others think is "in" never works out. I tried that once. My grades started to drop, and I started to lose my real friends. What I can recommend is to just try to find people that you are comfortable around.
As far as the whole intimidation thing: most people are nervous when they are thrown into a new situation. What you have to do is find your own little niche where you can be yourself and not have to try hard to have a good time. If you can do that, you will become more confident.
Grades: Important. Perfectionism: BAD. I used to be a perfectionist. I had to get an A on every assignment. But you really don't. You just need to get an A at the end of the semester. Don't worry about one B or even a C. They happen.

Whatever you decide to do: do NOT change who you are. I felt pretty much this same way during middle school. Right now, I am a senior in high school with a close-knit group of friends. I am active in many clubs at school, but not because I have to be to fit in.

i know about the good grades thing. If i get a good grade one time i feel as if im supposed to get it all the time. My experience with this situation is forget about it... Honestly whenever i dont think im gonna get a good mark BAM. Try your best and what more is there you can do. If everything is perfect, nothing is.

i have/had the same thing. but the thing that helped me the most was knowing how much support i had around me and using that reli helped! and the thought that someone out there was worse off than me! but i know the feeling . Hope it all gets better =]

why do u think that u r suffering from teenage anxiety? its nothing to worry. its just ur view that people laugh at u. Remember one think that people laughs when they see somebody laughing and when they see somebody crying they laugh more. So first u must note that u r perfect. the laughers always like to laugh without any reason.so dont think of them do it just for 7 days and u will surely find that u r perfect one. your this friend is waiting for ur raply.

i m 100% sure that u will do it. Promice me that u will not pay attention toeards laughers and u will find their mouths closed for whole life............
