The feeling in your stomach is from not releasing the tension, so it just stays in your body. You can get rid of it by being willing to feel all your emotions and being super honest about them, if not with your boyfriend, at least with yourself. If you're not sure what the emotions are, or you're having a hard time with them, journal. Write down all the thoughts you have that cause stress, and if you can, keep a log. Every time you feel the pain, write. If possible, each time you feel the stress, write. Get it all out on paper so you can get it out of your stomach.

It's so good you are asking this, because if not taken care of, your pain can turn into serious health problems down the road.

Listen to some music like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ab1l2TwF...

Watch movies, fall asleep to music, sleep!, watch tv, eat, work out, go shopping.... DO SOMETHING YOU LIKE DOING! if you feel the stress coming on just breathe... it really helps... the breathing.

When you're under a lot of stress, your body releases a hormone called cortisol that can tend to be stored in your tissues. The fastest and most effective way of releasing this hormone from your body is through exercise. Cortisol causes many changes in the body due to stress: suppressed immune system, increased gastric acid, increased blood pressure, increased blood sugar....all stuff that by itself can make you feel icky.

The next time you're feeling stressed out, why don't you put on your walking shoes and walk hard and fast until you start to feel better. For me, it takes about 10 minutes until I stop feeling so stressed, and start relaxing.
