Sometimes I stutter when I talk?!

Question: even when I'm not nervous at all.. I just stutter and stumble on words and I get confused. Not all the time though.. sometimes, it's just hard for me to form words that are in my head, even though I'm sure about what I'm about to say. Does this happen to everyone? Not just me? I'm not nervous at all when I'm speaking! But when I stutter on my words, I feel quite embarrassed..

I have had this, and i believe it is also caused by enthusiasm or over excitement.. I think the best thing to do for me, is to not be embarrased, but to stop. Rethink you thought, Excuse yourself if you must, then slowly spit them out, calming yourself and controling your breathing. In most actions in life, controlling your breathing and heartrate will help alot of things.
Dont be embarrased though, as it will just cause anxiety and make it worse, just be confident, excuse yourself and then go on, im sure it will help you.

I hope i could help.

Yep, I often get a bad case of the stutters too! It is embarrassing but what can you do. Try thinking about what your saying before you say it and try to speak slower! It helps.

First of all, no need to be embarrassed, dear. We all have our little quircks, and such.
Secondly, I know this will sound like it came outta left field, but studies have shown that people without hearing problems, but who stutter, are helped by the use of a hearing aid. I know it seems far fetched, but I've heard good reports about this. Try talking to your doctor and see if it is an option for you.

i also feel quite bad when i stutter too. Try this method: Just when your about to say something, take a deep breath and find your inner core, calm and peace. Try meditation, it could be used to lower stress and help stop you stuttering
