I would recommend you see someone about it...

But if you are not going to, here is something you may want to try: Whatever circumstances are playing in your head, and is upsetting you, think about it, then think of "alternative" endings.

For example, say you saw on TV someone getting run over by a car. Play this in your head (as you do anyway) and then take it further, choosing an ending like the person lying still for a few minutes before getting up and being able to walk away from it. Or the ambulance pulling up and the person slowly recovering.

Think of the good ending in more detail, play it out in your head a few times, and the thoughts about it should dissapear quickly.

Best of luck!

think abt smthn pleasin or go 2 a psychiatrist who cld help figure out ur problems.

whhaa???

i agree with chizzy please seek it soon ,the help you need isnt on this computer , but from a doctor,

hmmm, sounds like panic disorder, which means yiou get panic attacks from worrying about having the panic attack, therefor making it a disorder

This sounds like a symptom of depressive obsession. There are a couple of important questions to ask yourself. When did this begin to happen? What might have triggered it?

If you can distance yourself from the trigger, it should help reduce the intensity of the feelings.

Being alone with the anxiety doesn't help it. Going outside and talking to people; engaging in normal behavior, like taking a shower or doing the laundry, will relieve it.

This is actually a serious problem Rachel... And it can turn into a bigger problem. You should probably seek more knowledgable help then what we in this room can offer.

My wife has this problem... Back around '04 some videos were surfing around with that poor kid getting be-headed in Iraq. Like an idiot, my wife watched this video and she litterally couldn't shake it for about 2 weeks. I'm not kidding, it consumed her every thought for 24 hours a day, like I said for about 2 or 3 weeks. She finally had a break down one night begging for it to leave. We had to get her medication for this.

Go see someone....

Believe or not I got this way the first time I read The Shining by Stephen King. Baddogg

Well, I am a sicologist and just try thinking about it for so long that u get tired of it or u can just read a book and sing- it might sound weird but it works. Good Luck!
