If they start telling you to kill yourself or hurt others, THAT'S when you seek help.

Hahaha! That's funny, the voices in my head tell me to stay in bed. LOL
What you're hearing is your own voice "saying" what you are thinking.
When the voice comes from the TV or another object and only you can hear it, that's when you run to get help.
