Memory games are a great start. Studies have shown that if you commit your brain to a certain amount of time doing logical thought (such as Sudoku or puzzles) that you can improve your mental focus. The easy way to think of it is that your mind needs exercise just like your body does.

Try getting handheld game that you can pack with you. They're compact enough to keep with you just about anywhere you go. Take it to work to play during your breaks, play it while having a quiet evening at home, play it on the bus, etc. That may help you remember to exercise your mind.

If you have the money to spare, I would recommend getting a Nintendo DS with a copy of Brain Age. It provides a lot of stimulating mind games and has been proven to enhance the mind (including keeping presenile dementia at bay). Not only that, but it tracks your progress so you can watch your focus grow over time.

Write yourself little notes and keep them in places where you'll notice them... Something as simple as that can help somewhat.

My friend is like this, we do make jokes out of it but it is kind of worrying sometimes. He leaves himself notes, set alarms in his mobile and things like that to remind him of the things he needs to do.
Have a set routine; like you always do memory games at the same time everyday like the moment you've had dinner or when you first wake up in the morning, try not to worry too much about it and good luck

first of all, were you traumatized as a child?if you were , your mind may be blocking out the bad things that happened to you as a child.this is called'' post traumatic disorder.if terrible things happen like the loss of a relative or friend, this can happen.if this is not the ase then have you ever done any drugs?if so, this can damage the brain cells, sometimes, beyond repair.if you haven''t done drugs, then, don''t ever, otherwise, you could lose your thinking process all together.the main part of our brain that dtores memory and helpful information is called the cerebrum.the cerebellum controls our motor skills and balance.have you ever had a contusion to the head? if so, this could be the culprit.if not, then, you need to see a specialist.this is not normal for a young person to be so forgetful.good luck.

Sleep. No really. After I started taking naps when I got home, my memory became amazing. It's crazy. It's difficult when you're in a lot of IB classes though, so don't nap too long. But you'll get better grades more rested.
