Does anyone ever stop to think that if they are coming here for advice then they!
Question: I mean really, it is like the blind leading the blind. I suppose you can share experiences and learn something from it, however, what you really need is expert medical advice that cost lots and lots of money. Doctors have a hard enough time buying golf clubs and taking long vacations without everyone here playing armchair quarterback.

That's a good point. I want to hear from "Average Joe" when I need restaurant advice, not for serious medical emergencies.
lol, that is true. But, it's nice to read what people post. It makes me feel better knowing people can relate and I can come up with a different view point. Good point though.
Oh, and your avatar looks like Tom Cruise... (:
I give honest answers.
'blind leading the blind'...isnt that what one gets with thier collegues also?
are you a doctor? :) lol
People come here for support from others; others which are "human". And, to be honest, doctors can seem scary and can sometimes act without empathy.
People who come here are often unsure of what's really going. They want guidance in what to do. Even if they know what they *should* do, it's always better to have someone tell you to go ahead with it. It's a confirmation that somethings up, and that they aren't alone.
I see it more as venting and commiserating. Also, it took me a long time to find a good shrink so I like to encourage people to seek help they feel comfortable with. Doctors aren't superheros, they are human, too, and are biased and make mistakes. Experience builds wisdom, so I guess I feel like my experiences better equip me to help others.
