Answers: what is healthy internet use?
What are good alternatives to the internet?

You are spending too much time on the internet if:
* you are developing eye strain, sore muscles, or repetitive motion injuries
* if you are neglecting activities that are more important to you than the things you are doing on the internet
* if relationships with your friends or family have been strained by your internet use

Healthy internet use is when it adds something to your day and it does not cause you to compromise activities necessary for your well-being, such as exercise, eating a healthy meal, and socializing (with real people)

Good alternatives are any activities that are fun, healthy or fufilling - it depends on what you like to do.

well its not unhealthy to be on internet all day many people do it just make sure you take few hours do something active like exercise

I'd say about an hour. Good alternatives would be...
You're doing research? Look in a book!
You're instant messaging? Call your friend!

If you are on the internet and avoiding your responsibilities because of the time you are spending then its too much. An hour her or ther should be plenty. It also depends on what you are doing. Are you researching or are you spending it jacking around chit chatting with friends.

good alternatives - recreational reading a good book- taking a walk going to a park having fun with a friend
