I'm in my mid-40's. How can I conquer the feeling that the best years of!

Question: Its this damn midlife crisis that I think we all face that makes us ask this.
I am trying hard to believe that the best years have only begun. Look at it this way...You are older and wiser so you know what risk's will make you feel great and not be stupid and which ones are just careless childs play. If you have kids they are probably nearly grown...yay!!! You are settled in your job so you know that you have a steady source of income which leaves you free of worrying about that. You are that much closer to retirement and that means PLAY. I believe that life allows us to continuously redefine ourselves according to where we are at. I always wanted to be a nurse and part of me still wants that but now I am back in college ( very part time) to get a psych degree. These are the beginning years of the best parts of the second half of your life. My father is 77 and now he is studying Japanese, working out at the health club 2 days a week and golfing 2 days a week.. It truly is mind set. Pick one thing that you never thought you would do like hang gliding, mountain climbing, skiing, etc and just go do it...it just may be the best thing you have ever done and find you have a new hobby.

Do something new. Everyone has a list of things they regret not doing or hope to do before they die. Grab some things off that list and get busy. Sitting around wishing for your twenties isn't going to bring them back.

For a temp fix, get a younger lover. It's just a patch, but it does make you feel better for a little while.

Do things that will make u feel good.!!! Work out, hobbies, bike ride... Your still young !!! You are at your prime of your life !!

You need to find new meaning and breathe a sense of excitement and purpose into your life. Perhaps in your younger days, you have just worked at your job. Now is the best time to pursue what you've always wanted to pursue.

Give life a sense of purpose by serving others. When you serve others, you also feel empowered that you can touch and change the lives of others.

You can start by writing an eulogy. This exercise is recommended by personal development experts, to kickstart your thinking.

If the past has been bad for you, just give yourself permission
to let it go. Stop thinking about it. I'm in my 40's and I so wish I could go back and change things and that way I wouldn't have to think back about them. But being in my 40's has made me think of the future and how much time I have left. I'm not going to live till I'm 100. I know that. So I want the rest of my life to be better than the past. Taking care of yourself, and learning from the past is the best way to take
on the future.

Bang a girl half you age? Lol.
