There isn't going to be another mouse in your room unless you have food in it.

No food, no mouse.

Keep food out of your room!!!

Mice are terrified of movement. If you twitch in your sleep it will run away as fast as it can, which is pretty fast.

There is no way its going to climb up your bed unless you have a huge amount of food next to you.

Congrats. You have a boyfriend. You should feel great about that and stop thinking about a silly little mouse. Imagine if you lost your boyfriend? The mouse would be the least of your worries.

(Sorry, depressive thoughts - break-up with boyfriend was exactly one month ago...still unhappy.)

Get a hungry cat.

You need to relax! Proove to yourself beyond a doubt there is nothing there by having a thorough clean and move around of the furniture. That way you can dismiss any thoughts you have about the mouse as nonsense. Theres nothng better than porrf to let you know everythings ok.

Failing that get a cat!

Perhaps sleeping with your light on will keep the mouse away? I think they like it dark. And also have no food in your room.

Mice are very timid. They are afraid of you. It is very unlikely that one would come near you while you're sleeping because they are smart and know you are there. They want to stay away from you.

Freaking out over a mouse can land you with the pick of the boys. That's what happened to my mum. She was in year 10 in high school and she was very cool girl but she shrieked with terror when this mouse ran on top of her chemistry bench. My dad looked up and noticed my mum for the first time. The rest is history!

Jokes aside, I had a snake in the house last summer. It went into my little girl's room and I just shut the door on it forgetting there was a huge crack under the door that it could come out of. We had dinner on the verandah. My partner came home an hour later and he did the Male Hunter thing and struck it down with a bit of poly-pipe with lead in the end.

I was spooked by that for about 2 weeks, but I talked myself down, saying 'that snake only came in the house because I'd scared it below the house.' And 'that snake's gone, there might be more, but I coped last time even though I didn't like it.'

I'd suggest getting yourself from the college library a couple of books on cognitive behavioural therapy or rational emotive therapy. You can do it yourself. You train your thoughts to create adaptive results.

Hope this helps. Go well.
