Try some games that will 'exercise' your brain. . . reader's digest usually has some for free on their website, and I'm sure there are others to be found if you look around. Even the kid's game "memory" in which you lay out face down a deck of cards and turn them over two by two in search of matching sets - this can be played with a regular deck of cards , matching numbers or suits also. Exercising your brain really helps, I know for a fact that it does because it has helped my memory tremendously.

Quit the ganja. Play that game where you flip over the cards and try to match them like on old school mario!

eat carrots its proven i think that the nutrients in carrots help improve memory

yeah, stop smoking, my memory is gone from college

go to a doctor and get some damn ritalin you freak

Read the book "Overclocking Your Memory"

It compares your mind to overclocking a compy.

Memory in other words a power of retention is in three stages. Sravan, Manana, Nidhidhyasana. You read a lesson or poetry or hear a music and song are the first step called Sravan where you enter the next stepf of Manana ie., reading many times the answer for the question or singing the song you heard and murmuring the musical note often. Automatically the repeated reading or keep on singing and other such things fix you in the Memory stage and thre you enter the last and final stage of Nidhidhyasana where the learnt answers and songs that were sung or musical notes that murmered become your own and the mind registers in your chips and that is Memory or Retention Power. This is common and must in the process of the Power of Retention.

Just do say a 5 minute daily training memory test.
Make them creative and different.
Maybe remembering the words, or just trying to remember the order of something.
Be unique!
xoxo

Try this, I had the same problem and it was very helpful:
...
...ehm...
...
...Omg, I forgot! :(((((

daily trivia, keep the left side of your brain thinking. trivia, math, color studies, anything to make you think for like a half hour a day.

try this, it helps

make an account and do the weekly knockout tourney.

google it....honestly....there are some excersizes that you can do to help your memory.... I have problems with my own memory and playing memory games and all those stupid little memory things you hear about as a child...really do help greatly....just give it a try and see if it works for you....after all it cant hurt anything...

A bunch of those herbal supplements like Ginkgo Biloba are said to help memory. Most people won't tell you this, but the nicotene in cigarettes has been known to help short-term memory. Have you considered smoking? Just kidding.... the cancer probably outweighs the better short-term memory.

train it a few hours a day...Like trying to remember peoples names in the paper, magazine, do math in your head etc.. Once you start to train, it will be easier to remember things and stay on task

get a nintendo ds and buy the memory games.
works wonderfully.

You could be ADD =P
Hmmm wel if you cant concentrate on long tasks then list 2 classical music...like mozart(how eva u spell it ) It changes the frequency and etc etc dnt wana get into details.

Possibly ADD, you can take medication for that.

I think writing things down is the best way, just don't lose that paper you're writing things on. I have a small travel notepad I take with me everywhere and I write down everything. Not because I don't trust my memory, but because I don't want to have to worry about trying to remember something. I know that everything I have written down is everything I will have to remember. Then, I can use my mind to concentrate on work and decisions to be made for work.

take ginkgo and look at this great site it has alot of interesting stuff about enhancing ones memory! Hope this helps!

Hmmm, I know that an Italian research group (Palleschi, Vetta, Degennaro, Idone, Sottosanti, Gianni, & Marigliano, 1996) found a significant improvement on four cognitive measures after three months of aerobic exercise.

Meditation can help I've heard

And lowering stress levels- who can think when they are over-stressed anyway?

order some focus factor!, that should help.
