Has anyone tried telephone hypnosis and does it work?!

Question: For self-improvement, weight loss etc.

Answers: For self-improvement, weight loss etc.

I have tried hypnosis for weight lose and can honestley say - No it doesn't work. However I wouldn't be so naive to say that this is the case for everyone. I think in terms of weight loss and self improvement there are a few things you can do first without spending your well earned money. Excercise is the best form of self-improvement known to man-kind. Exercise releases chemicals in your brain which give you the feel good factor. Exercise doesn't have to be the gym, going running or aerobics, it can simply be going for long walks on a regular basis. I have yo-yo dieted all my life and have tried and tested every thing under the sun. Exercise is simple, cheap and you can do it at your leisure. In terms of weight loss you really have to be disciplined. Healthy eating is the answer. Lots of fruits and veg which are highly coloured are excellent for you and lots of water. Try ice in the water and a splash of lemon or lime. I drink gin& cold tonic water with lime added from Morrisons when I fancy an alcoholic drink. It's so simple to be heathier but so hard to start. If you really want to spend money an excellent book on how to look after yourself is 'How to look 10yrs Younger' by Nicky Hambleton Jones. There is a wealth of information in this book. It's like a bible to looking good at all ages for both men and women. I refer to this book for everything AND it is so easy to read.
Good Luck

I've never heard of it but I will tell you whoever is trying to sell this is crossing some serious ethical boundaries. You can do damage to someones mental health by not providing proper hypnotherapy! You need to be in the presence of a trained and licensed hypnotherapist unless you want to chance running around squawking like a chicken every time you hear a dog bark! Saving a few bucks isn't worth the risks. Go to a psychologists office and get it done!

I tried to hypnotise my telephone to believe it was a TV. But it didn't work.

I am afraid even face to face hypnosis is pretty worthless as a therapeutic tool.
