Positive or negative person?!

Question: A friend of yours is severely asthmatic and it has brought on some limitations within her life. She wants to try to lose weight so is trying to walk on the treadmill. Because of her illness, she can only do a little at a time. You asked her how the treadmill was coming along and she said it's good but she pushed herself a little too much the other day because she went for an hour and ran for part of the time. She said she had problems breathing all day because of it. So now she just has to pull back a little. So she did less time yesterday. She also told you that when she was put on steroids, it made her gain 6 pounds within a week. Though you told her it wasn't her fault, she said she had to counteract it somehow.

Would you see this girl as a positive or a negative person?

She is positive. She is trying to stay in shape and isn't being dissuaded. When you said she gained 6 lbs in a week and she didn't just give up, it showed how much strength she had to keep trying!

If this person is you, then good luck! Don't give up, you can do anything you set your mind to.

That one instance isn't enough info to judge her. I can see her as being a positive person by recognizing that she over did it one day. Obviously she doesn't like the steroids but who would if they made you gain weight like that. I would give her credit for at least trying to improve herself.

Umm hard to tell..really good question. I think that put in different circummstances she could be really postive... seeing as she is tryin so hard! And that she is willing to do a little work to reach a goal..that reflect a positive side...but since she does have problems she is probably just exspressing her feelings...if u were in her circumstances would u be positive or negative?? I think that sure she might be negative..and yeah there are people with much worse situations but hey u gotta get it out sometimes...positive.

its still hard to tell just from this story there is so much more that is needed to be known to judge her accurately. In my opinion I think she is positive she tries to help herself with all of her problems.
