Suicide questions and life purpose questions?!

Question: Why does YA get all the suicide questions and "what is the purpose of life?" questions? Everyone's purpose is different. Life is work. People just expect things to be easy and handed to them. I am a firm believer of "life is what you make it". I've seen really rough times in my life and they have made me stronger.

You're absolutely right!
If life was easy, you would have no character!
You become strong through life's difficulties.

People are looking for support, they come to a place that can give them support. Even though they may have real life support, it may never be enough. They want people who relate, and who can sympathize. They may know what to do, but they are looking for that comfirmation (yes, go talk to your doctor --that type of stuff). They are also looking for a comfirmation that what they're going through is real, and that people have gone through it themselves. It's one thing to have professionals say "oh, you're not alone alot of people have this" than for a person to say "I went through the same thing, still am, here's how I'm coping..."

The thing with rough times making you stronger is that you have to get through those times before you get stronger. And the thing with suicide...when someone is thinking/considering suicide they are not in the right mind frame. They cannot see this "light at the end of tunnel". They cannot help themselves and need others to help. They don't see a way out except suicide. They cannot see the good times that lie ahead. This is why people come looking for answers.

people reaching out. and dont judge people, they may not expect to get everything handed to them, they just wonder why they pulled the short straw in life. i know i do. never judge a monster, always its creators
