I write out the lyrics to the same songs over and over again. Could this be an o!

Question: (SORRY FOR ALL CAPS, I HAVE A FRACTURED WRIST, LOL )I FIND MYSELF WRITING THE SAME SONG LYRICS OVER AND OVER AGAIN INTO NOTEBOOKS, PIECES OF PAPER ETC. I KNOW THE SONGS BY HEART. I DONT NEED THEM FOR ANYTHING. I DONT KNOW WHY I DO IT. I USED TO MAKE LISTS AND CHARTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN TOO WHEN I WAS YOUNGER. MY BOYFRIEND ASKED ME WHY I DO THIS... I HAVE NO IDEA. COULD THIS BE AN OCD OF SOME TYPE OR AM I JUST WIERD? LOL

Maybe you just like the songs a lot and writing them out brings back memories that matter to you.

Maybe you find writing familiar things down to be calming or great time fillers or mindless doodling that actually makes sense.

Just because someone does something different doesn't mean it's bad.

Unless it's interfering with your real life, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

could be. go to a counselor.

Have you made any attempt to stop? Do you think about writing them again even when you aren't doing it? Do you just like the lyrics? Do the songs have a special meaning to you?
