sleep is that time when you close your mind and turn off your subconscious so your body can rest and resupply ATP which are found in the mitochondria in each cell in your body. The body takes the nutrients you collected throughout the day and gives it through a complicated process to the cells and organs in your body, depositing the waste in the kidneys to be expelled when you wake up...the body is very well constructed and after it is rested and feels it's nutrients have been collected and deposited you will wake up feeling refreshed or more groggy if you didn't complete this process. :) I hope this was helpful

i really need to know the answer 4 ur #2 question...........i cant wake up by my self and even if the alarm rings i wont hear it......
