Do people lose memory to simple calculations when they have amnesia?!

Question: for example 1+1=2? or lets say gravity?

and if they dont,how come they lose names phone numbers and every event in their lives but not that?

There are different kinds of amnesia. Sometimes you can't remember events but you can remember how to do things like math or playing the piano. The opposite sometimes happens too. Also some can remember names and phone numbers but not events. Some can remember only things from before amnesia and some can remember only things from after it. There is episodic, factual, and functional memory. Most don't lose all three. Compete memory loss is very rare.
