It just sounds like your depressed. These are the times that you need to relax and go to your happy place in your mind. It sounds weird, but it works. Take deep, slow, relaxing breaths. You can go for a walk, write in a journal. If you really think that it's depression, talk to a pharmacist about St. John's Wart. It is a non-prescription natural herb that helps people get over these feelings.

Look at it this way. Scientist have been looking for these answers for years. That is where we get the medicantion for mental ILLNESS. Depression is not a place you have to live with.

I do not understand people If you break a leg you go see the doctor. But, with mental ILLNESS (not "I am sad today"). People just want to TALK ABOUT IT

Get some pills man

HOnestly Let science be the leader in this

For me, it's finding a quiet place and meditating on God's Word, 'n prayer. I watch for little signs that God is moving in my behalf and when it happens, it uplifts me. Sometimes I just have to "give" the situation to God and trust him...... with the consequences.

Yeah, you've got depression which definitely leads to feelings of worthlessness and also desire for solitude and urges for angry outbursts, general feelings of resentment toward the world, and misanthropy (I love that word!).

It does not mean something is wrong with you. Lots of people suffer from depression and it's far from abnormal. You aren't messed up; you're suffering.

Meds can help, but you may not need them. I suffer like you do, but I don't require medication. Usually I do okay with just seeing my psychologist once per week. I get a chance to sit and talk about whatever I want or need to and I can get stuff off my chest that I can't say to anybody else, and I get feedback and encouragement.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that my psychologist is a smoking hot blonde with killer legs, LOL!

Anyway, I just asked her straight up if she thought I required medication and she said that I could do that if I wanted but that she didn't think I NEEDED it and that I'd probably benefit just fine from therapy; so I don't take meds. If you're in doubt, just ask a psychologist like I asked mine; I think you can rely on them to give you a straight answer.

Other things that help me when my depression starts to get overwhelming...

1) Jogging. Just exercising your body will help to fight depression, and jogging helps to just use up energy which is something you especially need to do if you feel angry and frustrated. Jogging will transfer over a lot of that negative energy and burn it up in a positive way. Sometimes I'll jog as much as 5-8 miles if I need to. I am daydreaming while I jog, too; just getting the 'poison' out of my brain.

2) Ice cream. Yeah, I know it sounds nuts, but ice cream always makes me feel a little better, at least.

And if you feel you need to be alone for a bit, that's okay. I actually REQUIRE extensive solitude in order to rejuvenate to the point that I can be a sociable person. Everybody has their own special balance of solitude and socialization that they need; the trick is finding what balance works best for you.

Oh, and if you decide to go to a psychologist (this doesn't make you crazy, btw, most people can benefit from therapy), I highly recommend getting a hot blonde one with killer legs.

Best regards
