How come people copy other people?!

Question: The desire to compare oneself to others is an innate human trait. Pride is the source of comparison and people copy others that they want to emulate because they will feel better about themselves if they can be something better than what they perceive themselves to be. Most people like this go along with others because they want to be popular or well liked among a certain group of people.

If someone likes what someone else is wearing, they will wear the same style. It makes the person feel confident.
Sometimes copying someone is kind of a complement to the person that is being copied. Someone is choosing to do something that someone else is doing because it pleases them.
