I really don't know what is wrong?!

Question: For the past year or maybe about 8 months I started to act differently. I would get angry, really sad, or just disgusted for absolutely no reason. For example, last week my mother was sitting at the table with me and I looked at her for about 2 seconds and then got really mad and grossed out. I mean really grossed out. Like I was going to be sick. She was just doing a crossword puzzle though. Is there something wrong?

Hello THH,
Your question,(complaint... observation), is so broad that a comprehensive answer isn't possible here. But, start with this...

How old are you and how has your relationship with your mother been in the past? Are you passing through puberty? Have things been welling up inside you for a while? like resentment?

You seem to indicate that your feelings might be negative even when your mother is not involved. What are you consuming? Things you eat and drink,(ie., drugs and alcohol,)definitely have bearing upon your emotional state.

How does your father fit into this situation?

Any siblings?

There is so much to consider. Having said all this; you must also consider neurological sources of distress. Your emotional response is neurological by nature. Is there a brain problem? Have you received a bump to the head? Are you having headaches or other physical problems relating to head trauma? For example, you could be experiencing something like a brain tumor that is altering your perceptions and emotional response.
MOST importantly, you need to seek the help of a trusted adult who can assist you in sorting out your feelings. Perhaps your doctor could get you aimed in a good direction.

I apologise for the long answer, but your situation is not simple; and needs to be addressed!
I wish you the best!!!

Butch

How old are you? And are you male or female? You might just be going through puberty. Mood swings and irrational feelings just come with the territory.

I wouldn't trust Yahoo Answers
Go see a psychiatrist

You shouldnt look at your mom in an x-rated way, that is gross

yes and im sorry ur having this prob. u r bi polar.
bless.

like nausea? i have no idea what to think of that... but i do know what it feels like to feel like something is wrong with u and u feel insane...

Is there anything big going on in your life right now??? Sometimes when people are avoiding stress, they seek to release emotions in other ways without even realizing it. If you think that there is something in your life right now that is bothering you, then try dealing with it and see if that helps it get any better.... especially if you are stressed....hope that helps!

Are you stressed because of some work or relationship problem or something?

Stress can easily cause you to get annoyed for no reason.

Also tiredness can cause you to get annoyed too.

bi polar

I really don't know. Maybe you should seek professional help. Check this out:

http://www.psychologytoday.com/

consult a professional. your not bipolar like the moron above me.

It sounds like you have some real anger issues that need to be resolved and talked about with a proffesional. I used to get really angry/sad and i didnt know why until i spoke with a councellor and was diagnosed with a mental disorder. I would see a phycologist right away.

sounds like you could be either depressed or you may have an underlying mental illness that has gone undiagnosed or there may have been an event over the last year that has triggered this i would need more information to really know what's going on

strange! You should be eveluated by a doctor to see what kind of mental condition you might have. There are some mood altering disorders like Bipolar, Boarderline Personality Disorder, ect.... You said that it was for no reason, which I think makes the situation tricky because most Bipolars and Borderline Personalities think they're actions are justified by reason. It sounds different.

Well first of all it depends on your age and what u r goin through.

Maybe you have anger management issues sorry to tell u that

It sound like your awareness level is up and you are more aware of your surroundings. This may actually be a sign of you growing as a person. Try to watch and observe your mom instead of judging her and definitely don't blame yourself.

there is only one answer to all the problems that people have and that is that they are not trusting in Jesus... put your trust in Jesus... you are not bi-polar... do not listen to lies about yourself... that could be exactly what is causing you to be this way is because what goes on around you lies to you about who you are... maybe people are bullying you, or you are not succeeding in an area that you need to... or maybe people are telling you through your actions that you are not good enough.... but you are God's creation... God loves you and he wants you to follow him... nothing can change you like Jesus can.

Isaiah 59:20
"The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins," declares the LORD.

you will be redeemed if you turn to Jesus and invite him into your heart and decide to follow him

I could be that you are sick in your emmotions. You need to see a doctor and work things out. Go on http://www.gooogle.com/ and search your problem. Maybe it's something in your genes? Or you may just be sick. God knows. Try looking through on of those doctor dictionarys that list sicknesses in alphabetical order. I may be puberty because sometimes it affects your emmotions. Or maybe it's something that you get once in a while? My sister is a nurse and I can ask her because i'm sure she'll know. My e-mail address is Kimberlyor@nycap.rr.com if you want to e-mail me just in case I find out by then. I dont think there is anything mentally wrong with you.

GOOD LUCK! GOD BLESS!

~Kim

You need to be connected with God for your own good. Just come to Jesus with genuine repentance and faith, and you will find peace, joy and meaning for your life.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives us air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives us water to drink and food to eat.
God gives us a wonderful body and a sound mind and life.
God loves us, and we are precious to Him.
The Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation, and qualifying us to Heaven.
Jesus
