Irregular breathing?!


Question: for several weeks now it has been hard for me to breath. It is only hard to breath when i actualy think about my breathing and when i listen to music. when i think i kind of push air out of my mouth like i was talking but i dont move my tongue or lips.

anyone got any suggestions of helping me get over this? im sure its some mental thing, but it constantly torments me!

Stop thinking about and focusing on your breathing. Your body will breathe on its own. If you become obsessed with your breathing, you hyperventilate making it harder and harder to breathe because you're diluting carbon dioxide (that uncomfortable feeling that builds up when you try to hold your breath and eventually forces you to breathe).
