Will I ever get over missing my hometown???????!

Question: I am 16. I moved 3 years ago from the suburb i lived in- i was 13 when i moved because my parents divorced. it was inland about 1 hour from where i live now..i love it so much and every time i go back such happy memories flood back at me and make me want to cry. where i live now is a very wealthy town next to the beach with a bunch of snobs. i've tried to change my mindset and try to like it here, but my mind keeps going back to my old hometown. my dreams always occur in my old hometown. i have not had one single dream that takes place here even though i've lived here 3 years-the setting is always my old hometown. should i try and move on or what??? i have decided today that after college i really want to move back there. do you think it would be hard to go back or ok? also, i made some amazing friendships in my hometown, but i don't really miss them much. i miss just the place in general. not a day has gone by where my old hometown hasn't crossed my mind. is it ok to move back later?

If you miss it that much go back when you finish school and see if it still has the same appeal for you .. If yes, then why not move back there . You have to settle somewhere.

I still miss my home town, but it's not what it was 20 years ago when I was a kid. I always remind myself of that.

probably not completely...it will always be in your heart and memories.
