Am i really depressed or not?!


Question: i think i am depressed because

i am a writer and my writing isnt coming to me like it usually does
I am also a musician and i never want to play my music, or even listen, anymore
i am always being told i have a bad attitude
i am always tired even if i sleep a lot i wake up tired
my body is telling me im hungry but i never feel like eating
i seem to be forgetting a lot more stuff
i always find myself saying "i dont care" about stuff i used to care about


and what do i do if this is depression?

This certainly isn't the place for a diagnosis, but you do have alot of the symptoms of depression.
The fact that you recognize them is a good thing though, you really should go to talk to a doctor and be this honest and let them steer you in the right direction.
Most depression isn't something that just is going to go away, like the flu or a cold. It is a problem with your body chemistry that can be adjusted with the proper medications. Not dealing with depression will most definetly mar your quality of life, so there is no shame in it, its not your fault, go get some answers from a doc!!!!

it could be, I'd talk to your doctor. I tried taking depression tests online and it told be I had mild depression but i still haven't done anything about it. Probably not the best advice but good luck!

yea u r. I had that yesterday and now today all I wanna do is play my guitar

you need to ex cercise and motivation. set outeveryday to accomlish something new and focus your mind on happiness in your life. let me help you if you need. im kinda the same way but i found the right track and want to spread it to help others like yourself. stay strong, ill make sure you get going in teh right direction
