The problem when you re read over something you have written you know what its meant to say so you just skim over the words and not realise you have missed them out. Try putting it to one side for an hour. Then read through it, you will see the mistakes. There is nothing wrong with you. Its quite common.

I think you day dream a lot. I mean you get bored easily and which lead to dreaming with open eyes. To improve your concentration power do this simple exercise. Take the news paper and open any page and start underlining the "e" letter. As many as you can. Then review how much you left. Do this for some days and it will help you.
Also don't take studies as a burden. Study when you feel good. Or better study with a nice warm cup of coffee and your favorite pack of biscuit. Also take a break in a hour and enjoy some good music (preferably from your earphones). But the break must not last more than 10 minutes.
Also when you write, pronounce the words while writing. Let your ears hear the word which you are writing. Your mind will be more attentive like that.
And there's no problem with your brain. Do let me know if you improve!

Usually people who have the problem you are having have ADHD.This can be treated with medication. I'm not a doctor but I do have a granddaughter who suffers from the same thing.
and she is only 5. So the best thing you can do is see a doctor and I am sure he will be able to help you.

You may have ADHD.
