I'm going insane?!

Question: Whenever I think about the past or the present and the situation I am in, I start to go emotionally crazy. I sometimes start to burst out crying and sometimes I just start screaming. I'm depressed and stressed out a lot of the time and I am very lonely. I'm not going to go into too much detail, but I don't know what to do. I keep on having nervous breakdowns like this every time I think about my past or the things I am going through now. Help please.

You arent going insane, because you are mentally healthy enough to ask the question.

That doesn't mean that there's something wrong though. From what you have said, you may just be extremely hurt... on the other hand, you may be suffering with PTSD.

Nobody here is able to give you a diagnosis though - not on Yahoo Answers. If this is as serious for you as it sounds, you need to see a doctor. If it were PTSD, I'd suggest a psychiatrist to have it diagnosed fst. If just that you are hurting, then I'd suggest a councellor or a psychologist. However, because there is no way I can know for sure what exactly the issue you're experiencing is, I'd have to suggest you see your family doctor/GP.

I hope you feel better soon.

Go eat some tuna with a piece of fruit every time you start thinking about whatever depresses you. Change the meat around so you don't get bored.

You may have low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). If you do, that may be why your mind is in a loop about thinking about things that make you start crying. Crying is exercise and exercise also raises your blood sugar.

I would seek out medical help. It sounds like you would benefit from both medication and therapy. Good luck, It sucks to feel that way. :(

Sit down and write whats worrying on a piece of paper. Then Read the paper and think about the situation. I find once you put things on paper it feels easier. Then think how this can be resovled. Also perhaps you might need to see a doctor if you have anything medicaly wrong with you. I did and i dont regret it. I hope you feel better and email me if you want more advice or just wnat to talk

Read Eckhart Tolle's the Power of Now. I've felt very similar and it's helped me a great deal.
