Anxiety...?!

Question: How do you get ridd of anxiety?

Answers: How do you get ridd of anxiety?

First of all recognizing it is a major step. Second is analize what caused it or what you think caused it. Talk about it, write in a journal, make suggestions to yourself on how the next time you can think differently about it.
I believe we can all train our brains to stop being certain ways. It just takes time. When you see your having anxiety, think other thoughts, go for a ride, talk to a friend, exercise, just anything to stop. It will go by faster. I hope this helped.

see your Dr get some tablets and get referred to counselling, you need to put some time into this there are no quick fixes xx

I sometimes suffer from panic attacks/anxiety and find the best way of dealing it is, when you know an attack is coming on to simply try and divert your attention elsewhere. Say perhaps you're in a crowded location I always think happy thoughts, or imagine I was somewhere else, sometimes it even helps to just fixate your gaze on say a plant in the distance anything to take your mind of it.

Thank you :)

try some herbal and natural remedies like lavender oil or kalms they help you to relax and are chemical free..;-)

good luck,hope you feel better..

You can't really get rid of it -- what you need to do is lay back, and relax. Try to change you attitude towards things --don't take life too seriously-- and avoid stressful situations as much as you can.
If those tips are not working for you, you should seek professional help : there are medications and treatments for anxiety.

relaxation techniques r a good way to help anxiety.Steady, even breathing is one way.Listening to a relaxation tape, they help u wind down, relax & breathe evenly. When u breath properly its amazing how much it helps u relax. If u dont breath properly u dont get enough oxygen & not enough oxygen makes u tense.Try 5 mins of steady, deep, even breaths & ul b surprised how much it relaxes u.Going for a walk or light exercise helps anxiety as well.Try it, ul b surprised.Making sure important things are taken care of ready for the next day aswel so that u dont go to bed worrying helps aswel.U cant get rid of anxiety completly sumtimes u just hav to do evrything in ur power to make ur life as stress free as possible & that makes u less anxious.Good luck with it.

simple. get down to the root cause. when sort out the reason why your in state of anxiety all the time. then you can address the problem.

Lower your caffeine quotient. Strangely enough, that did it for me. Almost overnight. Two cups a day of instant coffee. And no more. No more anxiety. I was lucky. Exercise will always help you, too. Apparently, one of the main things that can trigger anxiety is momentary loss of control of a situation. We are all upset for a bit (anxious) because we can't get things to happen the way we expect them to. That is when you go and sit down and relax for a little while. One of the things I use to overcome anxiety is to rest. I go sit down and close my eyes and just zone out for a little while. Sometimes I even take a short power nap. When I wake up, my whole nervous system has reset itself back to zero (completely calm). It's like when you restart your computer. It has a freshening effect on your nerves and attitude. I hope you can find some help from other people's answers here. That is yet another way to manage anxiety - stay connected to others even when you are anxious. I don't know how many times I have called someone when I was feeling upset, and they have just slowly talked me back down until I was feeling fine again. When this happens to you over a period of time, you get to sort of know how it is going to play out in you, and about how long it will take. My anxiety thing usually doesn't last much longer than twenty minutes. I have trained myself to just keep going sometimes, like doing the dishes, or setting the table, or running a laundry, or even feeding our two wonderful house cats - you know, keep right on doing all the things you would do normally, so when the anxiety passes, you can look around and notice how much you've accomplished even when you were feeling unpleasant for a little bit. I hope my answer helps you manage whatever anxiety you may have from time to time.
