I sometimes think people are after me?!


Question: When I am walking to school(it's dark) I think somone is after me. When I'm sitting outside and someone walks by me I think they will attack me. I just started thinking this. Sometimes when people look at me I think they are talking about me. Then my heart goes really really fast. PLEASE TELL ME I AM NOT CRAZY

It's natural to a point, especially in the dark to feel like this. It's your bodies way of preparing to run if fight if a bad situation arises. A lot a lot of people are paranoid sometimes. I would only seek help if this occurs all the time. Has something scary happened recently that has made you like this. if so it's a even more natural reaction.

Your not crazy. (Though that doesn't mean you are being followed or are in danger of being attacked)

you are displaying signs of some sort of paranoia. It IS CRAZY sorry, but it's not the end of the world....If it continues and you can't deal with it anymore, you will probably have to talk to a professional, but maybe it will go away, or doesn't disturb you so much that it has an impact on your wellbeing

Have you thought about self defense classes? Can you buddy up with someone when you are there???
Could be partly self esteem...the talking about you part.
I don't think you are crazy. Just becoming more aware of the dangers...
If you can not go out because of fear, that is a problem. Then I would suggest seeking professional help.

i have the same problem....especially when i'm walking home when i'm walking home in the dark.....i'm a very nervous person anyway but i did get chased by 2 men with a knife before near enough to the middle of the night i did eventually outrun them by going through lanes and stuff i think they were drunk anyway but it has made me much more nervous than what i used to be i have the same problem as you and as far as i theres no cure to help

Try using things to make you relax.. such as a relaxing tea or valerian root pills they may help you relax. You should try walking to school with friends that could also help you.
