Please help. If someone takes anti-psychotic medication...?!

Question: ..for delusional thoughts, and all of the delusions go apart from one, does that mean that 'delusion' is actually true?

Not necessarily (like Mrs H said). Medications and therapy work together to help the whole person. Distinguishing reality from delusions is just a part of a process. And depending on the severity and longevity of the delusions, it will take some time to help see some real results and improvement.

I think the key here is to talk openly & honestly to & with your doctor/therapist. By talking openly/honestly with them you help yourself in the diagnosis and treatment so they have all the clues & information needed to make adjustments to your medications/behavior therapy regimen.

Best of luck in this now & in the future!!!

Not necessarily hun, it could mean that the person doesn't just need meds but therapy too. So that the person can distinguish reality from delusions.

pschotic medicines have the side effects like dillussions these medicines should be taken under medical supervision

no not at all, the medication just stabilises you it doesnt nessisarily get rid of all delusions. you need to speak to your psychiatrist.
