Can someone please try and help me with my anger?!


Question: i have really bad anger problems, i get very angry easily
in the past i have just punched stuff or screemed or cryed but it relly is annoying me. i have tried all that breathing crap but thats useless, it does nothin.
i have just been storing it all the time and the last time it came out about 2 years ago i punched a wooden cabit and fuked up my nuckles.
can someone please give me help as to how to control it or how to release it safely???

Are you on any medication right now? Probably not right. Well sometimes this breathing stuff works on some people but lots of times you will need some kind of medication.. There are lots of medications that I have came across that can be used for controlling anger. But you need to ask your self what is causing the anger. Do you get angry over little things? Does this happen over little things? Do you get anxiety attacks? I know of one that helped me for a while; Propranolol. This totally made me feel calm... It would work right away. But it seems like after a while you can get a little immune to it (you don't get addicted to it though). It still keeps my heart from pounding when i get an anxiety attack but i still can get angry. I'm sure that its working though. There are a bunch of anti epilepsy drugs that can possibly help. I'm trying my first true anti epilepsy right now. I get angry and pissed off very easily too... Talk to a psychiatrist. And if you can't afford one then check with your county for free or cheap county mental health. They should be able to help you.

Also try lifting weights. Get your self ripped. I'm serious, this can help a little bit.

getting laid works for me (no joke). try to run about 20 to 30 minutes everyday.

Sit down, and calm yourself when you start getting angry. Think of good things in your life, and try to ignore what ever is pissing you off. Heavy Metal works to, so listen to some good ol Children of Bodom. :D

This isn't something that a short note over the web can fix.

Tell your doctor about this and ask for a referral to an anger-management clinic. They have specific programs that you can take to get your anger under control.

Do it. And soon.

The longer it takes you to get help, the more ingrained these bad reactions to stress situations get.

A punching bag or heavy body bag is the best thing. You can get out a lot of stress and anger out safely. Work them until you are exhausted and what a difference it will make. Feels good and when you are out and about it is easier to get along because you have worked it off.
