You might have heard of the television actor, star of the series "Hogan's Heroes" from back in the 1960's, named Robert Crane, I believe, who was a sex addict, and was murdered by some "criminal element" he was around during those days. There is an interesting organization, or was anyway, called "Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous / The Augustine Fellowship", who published a book "Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous" in 1986.
