Is my friend Derrick being mean to his roommate Sammy why or why not?!

He said after he called Sammy that he attacked him and Derrick had him in a headlock and kept punching the poor guy until he had bite one of his fingers and escaped to his bedroom. Derrick then told me he laughed at Sammy because he had cried after he had beaten him up and he told me he keeps calling him degrading names such as fat ugly clumsy geeky everyday to make him feel bad because he is upset that he attacked him and did not allow him to use his computer.
