I'm tired almost all the time...why?!

Question: I'm tired ever such alot.
I try to get up and do things but just have no motivation at all.
When i go out with friends, i come home and am really tired... now here is where it gets strange...
I am exhausted but as soon as i go to bed i can't sleep. It takes me hours to wind down and as a result makes me more tired in the day...
HELP!
xx

that same exact thing happens to me. what i do is take a hot bath right before i go to bed, or if its really cold in your room dont turn any heater things on just snuggle in your blankets and get warm that way, cause wen your to hot your deffintly cant sleep. Also drink alot of water, cause i found out that one of the reasons i wasnt sleeping was cause i was dehigerated. One more thing try to forget about everything thats going on that day and just think about how good it feels to go to sleep, or listen to a sound thing tht helps to =]. And for the first part thts also the same thing with me, just make sure you eat breakfast and lunch, and talk to people alot cause sometimes other people can pump you up lol and dont eat sugar thts wat really doesnt help. haha thats alot but whatever.

Sounds like you have a poor diet and that stupid little PMS guy there anyway take a relaxing bath then go to bed when you muscles are all relaxed and your breathe is slower it might help and also drink lots of water and try to get those fruits and veggies in your diet!

Good luck!

umm the first part i dont knowe but the part about not being able to sleep and having 2 hours to wind down could be stress.

maybe u suffer from animia. you should star eating foods with lots of iron.{beans meat lentils etc.}

Ask yourself what you really want...... deep inside and enjoy doing that... be self determined to complete the task that you do..... go to gym and some active stamina building excercise listen to music....

maybe u have Mono or maybe your pregnant :0

Has your doctor checked your thyroid functioning? Your thyroid gland regulates your metabolism and your energy level. Your thyroid could be under-functioning, causing you fatigue. Ask your doctor to check your TSH and free T4.

Welcome to depression!! If you find a counselor to work with, you should be able to find a way out of this...

it could be a -lot- of things but most likely it's a physical health problem rather than a mental health one...

when -I- was tired like that, my doctor sent me in for blood tests and discovered I was iron deficient (like almost anaemic) and once I started taking iron tablets I felt heaps better.

if I were you I would go and see a GP, they can run some tests (blood tests mostly I guess) and see what the problem is =]

eat better and excercese. set off and go after some of your goals in life. little steps will motivate you
