well first off i love and support our military and thank u guys for wat u do ... second no its not ok to lash out at others... if uve been to iraq or another war zone then there is ur answer... lots of my buddies come bakc with the same issues... uve learned and been trained to be agressive now its time to control it... in the marines it was ok ... as a civilian former marine its not... u should ger a punching bag and let loose on it... take up boxing or something i promise it will help with control and lashing out

Try something such as jogging. Some say punch a punching bag but the point is to exert energy in a non violent way to not promote those feelings.

Jogging or going on a power walk helps me cool off.

Haha you sound a lot like me! Lol, anyway, I posted a questioin asking if I sounded like I may be bipolar, and one of the answers I received told me to research Borderline Personality Disorder. From what I've read about it, it's where you have a very short temper, and when you get mad, you feel violent. Maybe you should research it as well. =]] Good luck, and try not to hurt yourself or others.

Anger is something which can impact all around you, and you might want to see about making the most of the Veterans benefits you have and seek out some counseling. Anger can be dealt with, but it can also be a symptom of larger issues.

As for whether it's okay to lash out or not, the answer is NO. The fact of the matter is, no matter what is prompting your anger, it's something that **you** need to deal with, not inflict on others. Your outbursts wouldn't be tolerated in the Corps, and you shouldn't expect it to suddenly be acceptable now that you're a civilian.

So see about meeting with a counselor or therapist so that you might work through whatever issues are causing your bursts of anger.

never ok to lash out learn to control your impulses and take pride in being able to do so a man of discipline a marine should be able to tackle this problem break it down look it up figure it out
