Get a big rubber ball from your local department/toy store and a sharpie.

Let your words write all over it and frustration kick the sh-t out of it. Instead of yelling, scribble like mad on the ball and if need be, get physical. Writing it all down ought to be enough though.

Just got that idea off of someone else's, and I really like it. I think I'll give it a go! :)

i find kicking a ball or writing down and reading what i feel helps

Try taking deep breaths or counting to 30 before saying anything when angry. I find writing things down help me. I also go to another room and try to cool off or take a walk or a shower. Some people use exercise as a way to blow off steam. Maybe take a yoga class or go to anger management classes.

A soft answer turns away wrath but harsh words stir up strife. Control the tone of your voice... God is willing to help you just ask Him.

Breath walk away and another good thing is those balls that you can get at a dollar store squisy ball things.

I went through anger management when I separated from my now ex-husband. I noticed that I was starting to take my temper out on my son, so I started the AM program at my local mental health center.

One of the best pieces of advice they gave me was to learn to let go of the little things before they pile up into a big-time fit of anger.

Whenever something little happens, even if it just mildly annoys me, I will still take a few deep breaths and try to let it go.

Another thing they recommended was imagining a place where you feel completely at peace and take a few minutes each day (several times a day if necessary) and picture yourself there. Sometimes I only do this for 30-60 seconds at a time and breathe while I am picturing this and it is enough to lower my stress level enough that I can face whatever is getting to me.

good luck!

When you feel angry just take deep breaths and untill it passes, then deal with the situation when you feel calmer.
