Answers: Thanks for answering..

First you should find the reason, is it financial, emotional, health related, once you define the reason you can work on it and over come this stress.
in general, vacation can help, if unable to go for vacation even short one, then try light music, massage, good sex with all mentioned before will help too much
relax girl, nothing in this world deserve that you be under stress.

I don't know...if you get a good answer, I'll be watching!

I need the same advice!

I go jogging and listen to my favorite play list with all sorts of kick asss rock and metal songs. The more stress, the faster I tend to run.
You'll find that things don't stress you out as much anymore if you make it a regular part of your life. If you're not into running or rigorous exercise, or if sweating a bunch isn't your thing, then I bet a long walk, like an hour at least, would do the same thing. It really gives you time to think.
There's a lot to like about the run though. Even afterwards you feel the effects, and the cool down is accompanied by a rush of endorphins. The shower feels ten times better than normal. Usually I feel really good all day long after a run, whereas the days I don't run, I can feel the difference.
Oh yeah, one more thing, go get a deep tissue massage, they're priceless (about 50$ an hour actually)
Cheers.

Everyone right now (except the elite 2%) have at least financial stress. The best way for me to relieve stress and realize my life isn't as rough as I sometimes think it is is to volunteer. A day at a shelter or womens clinic wil help let you know what you've got could be alot worse.

Create an escape for your mind. Even if it's just a few minutes a day, you will see a huge difference.

I find slow Christian music to bring peace to my mind when I'm troubled/stressed. I try to put things in perspective and realize that my future is bright.

Hello,

Go see your doctor tell him about your stress problems, he might give you some really good advice on what to do or he might tell you to go and see someone who can help.

Good luck.

Become lazy. Refuse to let anything bother you. Don't do anything you don't want to do. Don't get up in the morning if you don't want to. Don't listen to what anyone else says. Ignore the phone if it rings. Don't pay the bills when they are due. Don't fret if you have nothing to wear.
Move to a nudist colony and live the life of a homeless person. Eat grass and dirt for survival.
I have never tried this, so.... don't take my advice. It probably wouldn't work. LOL....

First look at your situation and if there are things that are stressing you out that do not have to be in your life, cut them out of it. Obviously things like finances, work, and school can't just go away but you can make them as good as possible. First, and this sounds so cliche', but try to always think positively! If you are thinking of the GOOD things you have in your life and you are really grateful for them, it is hard to feel bad or stressed. Second, find something to do that is relaxing to you, or something that allows you to blow off steam. It can be anything that you enjoy doing like exercising, reading, going out with friends, shopping...anything to take you mind off of your troubles for a little bit.
I have a lot of stress in my life and it tends to be very busy and hectic but I *always* make time for just ME! I make it a point to have at least 30 minutes of alone time each day to do what I want to do and not have interruptions. Sometimes I will read, or run a hot bath and soak, or I may even go for a walk at the park or go to the barn to mess with the horses.
Point is, just find things that are relaxing to you and do them for a little while everyday. If you find that you are over stimulated or about to explode...just take yourself out of the situation for a few minutes (longer if you can) and just breathe!!!

Make a trip up to Chicago and come see a good friend of yours

clean house like crazy to vent the physical build up....rent a good movie to take my mind off of my life for at least an hour or two, go for a drive with the radio on, read, do my nails...just small things that kind of shift my mind for short periods of time can make a big difference

Call Me

make love or have sex---both works for me
