I guess it would depend. Are you obsessed because you find them interesting or because you admire them?
I have enciclopedias about serial killers and books and books about the topic, i dont consider myself obsessed and definetly wouldn't call my interest in one specific subject "my favorite guy" in fact i find it kind of disturbing that you have a "favorite" serial killer.
But if you meant that they are fascinating (which they are) and you are glad they are behind bars where they belong then there is nothing wrong with that.
Of course not, those people are sociopaths (a.k.a. one of the smartest people alive). They are so intriguing....as long as you don't ever wanna be like them....your good!

Depends on what you define as an obsession. If you mean you think on these people most of the time you need to get out more or run to a psychiatrist.
No. Some people have a morbid fascination with such people but it passes quickly. An obsession is something that requires treatment.
