I do not understand this, my mother told me I have a disorder called APP? Or ASP!
Question: And she said it was called "Audio Processing" and that's about it,
she didn't really explain what it was or why I have it,
all she said is that a doctor diagnosed me with it at a young age.
I also pulled this off of wikipedia, but it didn't really say much of anything else:

I just keep thinking this is a problem I have now,
and I keep thinking that I may have problems processing what I am hearing,
but I don't want to think there is a problem there when really there isn't.
I also find I am very smart in a lot of ways,
but I don't want this to keep interfering with my mind.
Does anyone know what the heck I am saying,
can anyone here help?

Well, I think it could mean 1 of two things....1. Example. A kid that sits at the back of the classroom, and cannot finish work because of background noise, like...He is more focused on the sounds from the back of the class as opposed to the teacher.
2. Well audio processing - you process what you hear(the condition of being carried on. or a continuous action, operation, or series of changes taking place in a definite manner(I'm just taking this from dictionary.com)) So like, What you hear you have to process it first, I'm sure that would not be the case...sometimes it can be confused with learning, Like when I want to learn a song, I repeat it...like this process....1)Attention 2)Retention 3)Reproduction 4)Motivation.
Or maybe, I am off the page completely...anyway, Check with your doctor to be sure...We live in Canada, Its free.
your best bet is to go see a doctor ...........
get another opinion and ask questions about the disorder
