New Disney culture...?!
Question: What on earth is happening?
Hannah Montana, High school musical is E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E you go!
The whole Sharpay/Hannah fashion is everywhere.
The other day i was at my 7 year old neices birthday party and all the little girls (aged 6 - 8) had hoop earrings in, high heeled shoes, make-up (that they had obviously applied themselves), teeny tiny skirts and were going around yelling (Sydney is her name) "SYDNEY'S GOT A BOYFRIEND!".
They were all sporting their HSM/Hannah Montana t-shirts and bags.
Now I'm all for little girls playing with make-up, wearing their Mum's high heels, but usually around the house.
These little girls were acting like teenagers. Whats the world coming to? Do you think its disneys new found glory that they found with HSM that is to blame? Or just plain coincidence?

Personally, i am beginning to think all media things should be banned. it's ruining our society and making kids stupid.
many focus on what celebrities are doing these days instead of doing their homework and studying. but music is nice..now that i think about it..i could never survive without music. but most of these things going on these days are just bull.
i agree with you on the how kids try to live things that they have seen on tv (such as the boyfriend thing). i dont know what kind of parents of children you know, but the ones i know would never allow their children to go out of the house like that.
but then again most kids are turning into rebel these days to fit into society's definition of 'cool' meaning being with the older kids and such.
