Yes and there are mental health wards in most hospitals. If you were to be admitted to one and did not feel that it was safe to go back to where you were living upon discharge, there are social workers that can help you find somewhere else to stay. However if the reason is that you live in a bad neighborhood or something, it may be difficult for them to place you somewhere else.
There are halfway houses, group homes and other places that you may be able to live. However beds are scarce, so there would have to be a good reason for you to be placed there. Like you are unable to live alone because of your condition, or your parent's are abusive, or something like that.
A rehab center or mental health ward is only temporary and usually require one to say that they are actively suicidal to get admitted. In most cases this would then lead to some time in a locked ward until you were deemed "able" to be in the open ward.
Have you been treated for depression before? Are you seeing a psychiatrist or psychologist? If you are, you should talk to them about what is going on and see what they think. If you are not, I highly suggest that you see your regular doctor and get a referral to one or both for help.

If your thoughts for suicide are serious, then there are mental health facilities, yes.
Technically... I believe that all you have to do is tell like, a school consoler that you feel like killing yourself and they are obligated to report it... Though I do NOT recommend it...
