only if they get a report from the ins. co. not all ins co.'s send these out. all you have to do is ask your parents if they get a statement from the ins about billing amount, if they ask why then tell them you need to go for your physical and you wanted to know how much the ins payed.

I am sure they will see what they are paying for. maybe you should talk to them. by the way you might just need to eat healthier and exercise more rather than getting on medicines.

it wil be fun.. i mean if they didin't want to pay for ur doctor visits they would have you opn their insurance. and if they see that you are going back it will be fine because they know that your getting help for you issues and all parents want is to see their kids happy!!

they only want the best for you so if you let them know what you've been going through and appologize for not telling them before now they'll understand..

I like Hot's idea of excersising (really helps)! But if you need medicine you need it. The insurance information will go to your parents. I'm not sure why you would want to hide this from them. I would tell them ahead of time unless they are mean or something.

Since you are over the age of 18, your parents can not see claims for your visits/prescriptions on their insurance online. If your address is still the same as theirs, when the EOB comes in the mail they can access that info from the letter. You might call the insurance company and request to have your EOB's sent to you at school then they will not get it. I am not sure why you don't want your parents knowing you are going back to the psychiatrist but maybe even they knew they could help you cope. Good Luck!

Yes, of course they may even have a deductible that needs to be paid. Dear, is this really such a bad thing though? If you have been truly depressed as you say you need to know that your parents want to know these things - so they can support you too.

Best of luck and please do see a therapist as well - the meds alone are never a good idea..

Peace to you sweetheart.
