People think im stupid!?!?!
Question: i know im smart but just not book smart. and im really nervous because im looking at collages and all the things im interested in are either really hard to be great at (doctor) or easy but not something anyone can be sucsesfull at (artist) what do I do now?

well ive done terrible in all my science classes. its my least favorite subject. And people dont belive me when I say im gonna major in biology. Im planning to be a vet. so i say just follow your dream. and if your like me and afraid it wont work out, have a back up plan! Its harder to get into vet school than medical school so my back up is either Animal Control Officer (im gonna double major) or An aminal techinician (pretty much an animal nurse).
p.s. if you wanna be a doctor and ur afraid you wont be accepted at a college cuz of your low grades. apply for something your good at. and once your ceepted, change your major =]
Go into the arts...I did.
I too hated the idea of going to a college, however, I had an artistic drive and pursued that (even though I had minimal experience). I would say having a drive/passion in something is most important.
I wouldn't recommend just going to college to "find out" what you want to do... especially if you have interest in art, because it would be better to go to a school specialized in art, not just a state college. For me, I knew that if I went to "normal" college I would lose motivation and not really be enjoying it. The art school actually focused on what I wanted to do, so even the history/business classes were enjoyable because they related to what I wanted to do.
You have to be good to be an artist.
And.... you have to have a good memory to be a doctor...

I say work for a while in different feilds. You don't have to work for someone else. You can alos have your own business. Think about it. It's not as difficult as diong something you end up hating.
It does not matter what other people think of you it matters only what you think. book smarts don't solve all problems common sense and gut feelings are helpful too. You can up your intel. if you study more apply yourself and believe in you, not what ithers believe. some people think they know it all, but does that make it true. no!!! so you are not stupid unless you choose to be it is up to you and I think you will find that you are smart there are all kinds of different areas to smart in some areas you maybe stronger in and others may not be your strong suit that doesn't mean you can't improve on that Who knows everything anyways right
