Question: i've learned when im up the later hours i think a lot more and i drive myself crazy. i noticed when i sleep too long im exhausted...but not in a good way. like when i wake up earlier and have 5 or so hours of sleep and work the whole day...its just natural exhausted. i get so much pep. and im actually tired for a good reason. when days like today and yesterday happen ...i noticed i feel more depressed and "cloudy"...does anybody else know what im going through?? a lot of times i wanna sleep earlier but something alwasy keeps me up! so i end up going to sleep every night around 2am-3am...and lately 5-6am! i also notice when i do this..i feel sick in the day...i get weird like hot flashes and panic attacks. i just don't feel good when i sleep like this.

whats a good way to calm me down at night and let me go to sleep?

Go see your doctor about Lunesta and Ambien - only joking. I just think it's ridiculous for people to prescribe you something without knowing you, your medical history and your current health issues with more detail.

Go see your doctor, that's something you should do. However, don't the impression that your doctor knows everything. In recent studies is showed that only 10% of doctors rated their sleep knowledge as good.

You know, there are plenty of natural and alternative remedies out there to help combat sleep problems. Of course not everyone is interested, since it's far eaiser to pop a pill and let it do it's work. Little do most people know how many deaths are caused each year by meds.

Anyway, if you're interested in natural ways to couner insomnia, you can read here: http://www.howtobeatinsomnia.com

Go see your doctor and ask for ambien/lunesta. Good luck.

Are you sure you are suffering from a manic disorder? Also I have heard good things about seroquel....being used for people who have these problems!Good Luck!

You may have high anxiety. That will keep you from sleeping and cause you to awaken often during sleep. You may also have a sleep disorder. Go see your doctors and tell them what's happening to you. It's very important.
