Feeling embarrassed?!

Question: I'm very shy and soft-spoken, especially at work. However, I've been opening up to a few people. I was rushed to the hospital from work one day because of an asthma attack. After I came back to work, I became a little more withdrawn. It's been a few months since that time though. One day, as I was venting about things, I openly admitted that I was really scared when I was sent to the hospital. I also had a friend who wasn't there for me during that time and I openly admitted how I could have used a friend to talk to because I was scared. I'm feeling embarrassed that I let that out.

What do you think my coworkers think now that I let all of that out?

if they read this...

very proud =]

Co-workers are usually a little more distant than friends, unless your friend is the co-worker, if you know what I mean. I think you were very brave to say these things, they do not seem extreme at all. They just seem normal to me. You just were saying how you felt and I think that is OK. If anyone should (god forbid) act funny about it, that is their problem and just don't make them a confident next time. Good luck, you seem fine. Love, Janie.

I think your overreacting. Anyone would feel scared if they had an asthma attack and I definately wouldn't think any less of you if you were my co-worker.

I think you think to much about what others think. I dont think they'd make too much of that and probably do understand how you felt on that day.I can get like that too , make a comment and stew on it for days, wondering if it was a stupid thing i said, dont worry time will pass on and all will be forgotten

Do you know what? Don't think about what they think. I've learned you can never tell what another person thinks really so leave it at that. Stick your shoulders back and hold your head high. I'm the oposite of shy and I find ppl open up to me.
I would have been scared too if I were you. Anyone who says they wouldnt be are lying.

Hi Angel,I think that you are over reacting a little. They are and were just worried about you.Let it all go and things will seem like they are back to the way that they were. Dark Angel.

I think you shouldn't care what your co-workers think. You sounded off. people have more than likely forgotten about it by now.
