Question: After being addicted to crystal for 2 years my lifelong friend claims, he feels constantly burnt-out as if he had been doing it again, when he is completely sober. Can someone explain what he is feeling to me?

he is probably thinking about it alot. thats how I felt when I thought about my drugs of choice. after being in rehab/residential (whatever people wanna call it) for a year I still think about it and consider it. and I kinda put myself in the body sensation that I was in when I used. like as if I am trying on old skin
and sometimes if I pretend long enough then I cant get myself out of that thinking unless something major happens and I take my mind off of it
